About us
Voice Vision’s goal is to empower people with visual impairment through integrated programs that help them attain dignity, become independent, and build a more inclusive world.We stand for the values of Independence, Inclusion, and Dignity.
Activities of Voice Vision
- Computer training center: Computer training is imparted to students with vision impairment using screen reading software called JAWS (text to speech software which reads the screen aloud). Successfully trained more than 85 students, who have excelled in their career.
- Knowledge sessions: Imparted various soft skills & live skills training via the knowledge sessions to more than 1,500 participants. For example, sessions were conducted on - mobility tips using various transportation means, first aid training, sexuality & intimacy, self-employment opportunities, financial planning & investments, etc.
- Matrimony: Matrimonial section on the website helps registration of prospective bride and groom; we organize matrimonial get-togethers across all physical disabilities to bring together both sides in their search of life partners. Our 3 get-togethers reached out to 145 prospects and have 2 success alliances.
