About us

CDI provides developmentally appropriate classroom based training in five major areas of universal human competence - self-reliance, social awareness, self management, relationship skills & responsible decision making. A number of students from different schools & colleges all over the country have so far benefited from the activities of CDI.

Future endeavors include reaching & involving needy disadvantaged youth continually in CDI's training endeavors and activities throughout India; especially those who are financially, geographically or culturally disadvantaged.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE is an idea which deserves to live, find many homes and flourish throughout India. Imagine a young India with its population honest, self-reliant and thinking straight. Wouldnâ€™t that be worth something? With a deliberate, intentional & focused effort we can help our youth achieve their true potential, improve their well being and help them find their bearings in life.
