About us

Women and Child Welfare Foundation direct actively involved with the entire spectrum of the process- from investigation, rescue, care, protection, prosecution to reintegration and rehabilitation of victims of trafficking. Human trafficking as an organized crime needs a multi pronged efforts and a large network to prevent and protect the girls and women. The Delhi and U P State is not sensitized and active to take a proactive role inspite of various schemes that are supported by the government. The responsibility of the work is with the civil society agencies and NGOs who are recipient of government grants, which are never disbursed on time and neither is it sufficient to meet the costs for a multi- disciplinary team to address human trafficking at the destination. ·
