About us

Udyogini's core products and services are
1. Micro-enterprise training for grassroots women and development practitioners (for staff of NGOs, government, donors, companies in India and abroad). Udyogini has till date reached out to  more than 2 lakh women through 500+ NGO staff in Orissa, Rajastha, Bihar, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh for taking enterprise management of the grassroots work in their agencies .
2. Developed value chain for 15 products and have scaled up value chain development of Saal leaves, Lac, Silk, Honey, Bamboo (incense stick), Mahua, Tulsi, Tomato and other vegetables, Mustard, Pulses, Embroidery, Dairy, Spices, Imitation Jewellery, livestock (Goatry, and Poultry) and other NTFP in 5 states. Most of the value chain development of products, are implemented through Village level Service Centers (VLSC)-a two way for aggregation, value addition and marketing of sub-products.
3. Building and Strengthening Market linkages for the sub-products. These are established to ensure sale of products and to keep up the information of the market and customers' requirements. Udyogini established links to companies such as Rangsutra, Fabindia, Reliance Life Sciences, Welspun and Mother Dairy.

By 2018, Udyogini is aspiring to be the pioneering organisation in
1. Value chain development:  To scale the direct and indirect business service provision through diversified interventions for sustainability, model expansion and model replication to enhance the income and capacity of 25,000 women additionally.
2. Local Micro Enterprise Development: Reach 25,000 more rural women through its business development
