Tropical Research and Development Centre is an NGO founded in 1994. Its working in Uttara Kannada, Mysore and Haveri Districts of Karnataka, India, with an objective to reduce poverty through education and conservation of natural resources for future generation.

Why work with us
Activities mainly focus on familiarizing children about their immediate surrounding, sensitizing environmental concerns through presentations, film shows, quiz, puzzles which deepens the eco awareness and enable them to translate the education to effective behavioral actions from grass root level. Emphasis on interesting activities like identifying trees, plants, insects and watching birds and tasting wild fruits in the forest will nurture young minds towards ecology and environment. All these activities will be starting point of involving children in preserving and conserving natural resources in and around their village and nurtures the better environment attitude in young minds.-
