About us
The Swabhiman Samiti is a Non-Government Organization and registered under the Society Registration Act 21/1860. It is based upon the Gandhian Philosophy – Non Violence (Ahinsa), Local self Governance (Gram Swaraj), and Sustainable livelihood (Rojgaar). The Swabhiman Samiti started its work in 2004, in the 5 villages of the Nichlaul Block of the Mahrajganj district with a thrust for changing the condition of the deprived people of the society.
OUR VISION: An India without poverty, patriarchy and injustice in which every person enjoys the right to life with dignity.
OUR MISSION:To work with the poor and excluded people in their struggle to eradicate poverty, patriarchy and injustice.
