About us

SF has a very broad institutional mandate for programming and operationalization. Clarification of its mandate is based on what is provided for in its constitution, the current legal and social contexts. SF aims to create a better world for women and children through its various programs. SF's vision is to promote egalitarian, empowered and self-reliant society through tangible efforts of the voluntary organizations. SF's  mission is to build the capacity of the community in general and the grass root organizations in particular to take up the responsibility to further enhancing the capacities of the most marginalized and vulnerable section for its empowerment.

Women and children are the core of all the programs. Over the last two decades SF has been working determinedly to bring about qualitative behavioural change and impact lives of more than a lakh people through its in/direct interventions. Its bottom- up approach of inclusive development has changed lives of many and has led the path in sustainable progress.
