About us
Active in Community Health, Education, Skill Training & Livelihood and Natural Resources Management initiatives over 25 years, SPMESM currently operates through 42 projects. Based in Aurangabad, it has outreach in 5 districts of central Maharashtra. It offers volunteering opportunities especially in the slums and remote villages in the projects where we work with small and marginal farmers, adolescent girls, Health Education, Special Education, women, school kids and special kids.

We believe the spirit of Volunteerism is a great driving force in transformations. All our initiatives ultimately aimed at bringing in the Behavioral Change and a genuine volunteer with a kind heart can do one on counseling to bring in the desired change. Also, the developmental work goes beyond providing services and welfare. It always is about the bigger picture of sustainable development. For us, volunteers add immense value to the projects. The volunteers are seen as role models by the beneficiaries when it comes to think about contributing to the community. One of the prime objectives of our projects is to make the 'beneficiaries' into 'contributors' where we believe, the volunteers can play a vital role!
