About us

A large number of labourers from rural areas come to City in search of work. You must have seen them at major Crossings of the Cities/Towns, waiting for some Contractor’s supervisor to pick them up for a day’s work.

These labourers get work for only 15-20 days a month, and on the lucky days when they get the work, they are totally at the mercy of the Contractor who pays them only Rs. 150-200; a complete mockery of Minimum Wages Act!

It was decided by us that these labourers will be provided mid-day meals at a subsidised rate of Rs. 5 per meal. The idea of collecting Rs. 5 and not giving the meals for free is in line with the respect for dignity of labour.

The idea of skipping a pizza is completely symbolic. You can be a Sponsor, even if you do not eat a Pizza!

You can sponsor a poor labourer by contributing Rs. 500, which is good enough to feed a poor labourer for 30 days!
