About us

Sahaj has been working in Rajasthan from last 17 year, focusing on ending poverty and social injustice through well-planned and sustainable programmes in health, education, livelihoods and climate change. Our overall goal is the empowerment of less heard people from poor and marginalized communities leading to improvement in their lives with dignity and livelihoods.
Sahaj facilitate the empowerment of people from poor and marginalized communities in the fight to overcome poverty, exclusion and social injustice. We nurture leadership internally and among community based organization to achieve this mission. Sahaj has been registered under Rajasthan Society Registration Act 1958, FCRA and Section 80G: Income Tax Deductions for Donations.

Why work with us

The objective of the internship programme is to provide a framework through which Graduate, postgraduate and scholar students from diverse academic backgrounds may be assigned to to enhance their educational experience through practical work assignments. It is the attention to a wide range of activities like support to implement project activities in desert area, writing blogs, data entry to research, campaigns where you may get involved as interns. These activities are mean to give you wider exposure to the day to day work of the organization. Some of these activities might seem quite simple but they play an important role in building the patience and passion an intern carries!! The applicants have to go through a selection process to ensure that anyone who interns at Sahaj has the inclination and caliber to deliberate on the philosophy and work in close co-ordination with the team.
