About us

RMKM is a voluntary organization inspired by community development strategies of Mahatma Gandhi which strives to improve the lives of rural people and disabled.1. Education and Inclusion:Rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, specifically intellectually challenged in an inclusive environment. Currently, we are serving around 1600CWSNs through our intervention programs. .We are also running 24x7 Child help line where children in distress and missing children are provided help within 60 minutes of receiving information. 2.     Health:Prevention and education of HIV/AIDS among female sex workers (FSWs) out migrants and injecting drug users (IDUs). Around 600 IDUs and 600 FSWs are covered under our health program. Early intervention services to intellectually challenged children, improving access and involvement in government health services.3.     Livelihood Promotion and Micro Credit: through micro credit initiatives and goat rearing. 4.     Human Resource Development:Foundation course for in-service teachers, 2 years diploma course D.ED in Special Education ( Mental Retardation) & Degree course B. Ed. In Special Education (MR).
