About us

Rural Health Care Foundation provides high quality, affordable primary health care services to low income groups across various districts of West Bengal where health care delivery by the state is sparse. Since inception, RHCF has reached out to over 10 lakh people, through its 10 primary health care centres located across various districts of the state. Apart from providing out patient care, the tasks of the RHCF clinics is also to identify needy patinets and facilitate subsidized/free cataract, cleft lip/palate and paediatric surgeries in association with other organizations. It has in the past also distributed wheel chairs and blankets to the needy. RHCF plans to scale up to 25 additional clinics in the next 5 years using its current service delivery model and spread its wings out to other states as well. Amongst other initaitives, the organization also intends to set up a mobile hospital, delivering health care to the doorstep of the poorest.
