About us

For over 24 years we have been on an endeavour to bring about welfare and development of both the rural as well as urban destitute. Our focus has been on the poorest of the poor street children as well as the physically handicapped.

Mobility Project: We provide various aids to support mobility/audio receptivity. Children/youth affected by polio are given calipers to support their limbs, limb amputees are fitted with Jaipur foot prosthetics, Tricycles, wheelchairs and crutches are also distributed on a need based assessment. People with hearing impairment are given hearing aids in order to improve their audio receptivity.

Food for Education: We distribute free food prepared at our kitchens on a daily basis, to poor children if they attend any formal or non-formal educational class. It thus combines food with education-we now have a child who is educated and well fed. The program has been very effective in arresting the dropout rate in schools.

Garment Distribution: We donate used but very good quality usable garments to those in need.The garments are sorted age group wise and gender wise, selected, folded properly and carefully packed in plastic bags. They are as good as new.

Book Donation:We collectused books and other educational material from various sources and distribute them in schools for the underprivileged, thereby providing world class reading material for school children especially the poor who may otherwise never get the opportunity to access such books.

Computer Education & Spoken English: We have started these classes for street and slum children which gives them a chance to be employed.
