About us
NANRITAM
was started in 2002 by a few like-minded professionals who had one common
inspiration to guide them - Swami Lokeswaranandaji Maharaj of Ramakrishna
Mission and his ideal of service to mankind. Our vision is see the underprivileged in remote and neglected
areas live a life they can command themselves, free of the
shackles of poverty, ill-health and illiteracy. We To render holistic support to all underprivileged irrespective of
gender, class, creed or religion in the following areas:
1) Healthcare
with special focus on prevention of visual impairment
2) Child development through quality education
3) Treatment for the physically and psychologically challenged children
4) Skill training with employment/entrepreneurship support
5) Integrated rural development through farmers’ training facilities
Rural Projects in Operation:
1. Lokeswarananda Eye Foundation: A 100-bed eye-hospital in Barandanga Village of Para where the following services are offered:
i) OPD Services and consultation with eye-surgeons
ii) Cataract Operation
iii) Treatment for Posterior Segment Blindness
iv) Glaucoma and Retinal Disorder corrections
1. UDBHAASH : A Child Development Programme in partnership with Unicef for screening and early identification of development delays among children.

KRISHI KENDRA: A
agro-based programme that offers training in advanced agro-practices for arid
land, skill-training to farmers for additional income during lean months,
FELIX
School for Education: This
is an experimental project where we offer school education in English Medium according
to the CBSC curriculum for children from underprivileged rural families to provide
them the opportunity to be at par with students from urban areas

Why work with us
We need more people to develop awareness about the need to practice daily hygiene and nutritionally balanced food habit. We need volunteers to help in extra-curricular activities foe children in FILIX School. We need volunteers to help in administrative work during mobile health camps and counselling of patients.-
