National Agro Foundation is working for Integrated Rural Development with special focus on farm sector to create a sustainable livelihood model for the rural masses.                                           Initiatives of NAF on the rural development front include:                                               1. Technology based Agricultural productivity improvement  for food and nutritional security         2. Natural Resources Management and Watershed Development.
3. Women Empowerment                                   4. Training and Capacity Building of various stakeholders for rural upliftment including farmers, rural women and youth.                                 5. Entrepreneurship Development in farm and non farm sector.                                                 NAF is working towards creating sustainable livelihood opportunities in the rural areas itself and thereby, preventing rural to urban migration.                   Prime beneficiaries of NAF's grassroots development program include the marginal, sub marginal and small farmers, rural women folk, youth, rural entrepreneurs, community organisations like farmers club, self help group, joint liability group etc.
