A front-runner in the field of NGO’s run by Women Entrepreneurs was founded on 8th March 2000. It is registered under the Madhya-Pradesh Firm’s Society Registration Act 1973.It was observed that Central India was totally devoid of any active platform for encouraging & establishing women entrepreneurs. Ms. Archana Bhatnagar the Founder President took up the challenge of conceptualizing an association for women entrepreneurs and formed MAWE. 18 years down the line MAWE is a flourishing well-established NGO.It has been working to encourage women & girls for being self- established through entrepreneurship.

Mission Statement:To empower women through entrepreneurship and financial independence for sustainable development of their families and society at large.

Vision:For being entrepreneurs•By providing hand holding support to women existing entrepreneurs•For employment through skill trainings.

AIM:

To organise Events, Training programmes, Seminars & Workshops to benefit members of the organization & also encourage society at large to empower women to join the economic main stream & be equals.To share best practices through networking at National & International levels & provide exposure to women of smaller towns of our region.To help integrate Women Owned Enterprises into Global Value Chains. Network with the state & Central Govn. for making women an integral part of Policy Advocacy related to SME development.It is awarded as Madhya Pradesh NGO’s Leadership Award 2018.
