About us
Magic Bus’ children take control over their lives so they can move from a life destined for abject poverty and become fully participative members of their communities with jobs. Today, Magic Bus has evolved into one of the world’s high-impact, low-cost, scalable program. The key approach remain the award-winning Sports for Development (S4D) curriculum as a catalyst for education and a strong Mentoring Model to enable volunteers (emerging from the communities)to have the strength and attitude to be able to use every available opportunity to break out of poverty and develop a balanced sense of self-worth. Our plan for a young person takes into account the resources she has, as well as her interests, to map job potentials that are based on their strengths, interests, and where they live. The Magic Bus Livelihoods Programme, is an innovation that connects the aspirations and potential of underpriviledged youth to existing market opportunities.
