About us

Janaseva Foundation, Pune, established on 15th January 1988 is registered under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 having registration no. E/1193 Pune, dated 23/05/1988. Foundation is headed by it’s Founder Chairman Dr. Vinod Shah and is managed by Board of Trustees.

Vision

Our vision is to be the best in our field and to be a role model in the fields of humanitarian services.

Mission

Our mission is to serve the poorest of poor, ill, elderly, destitute, disabled, poor youth, girls and women, street children, rural villages through various projects and programs.

Goal

Our goal is to make our beneficiaries physically & socio-economically healthy and rehabilitate them.

Objectives

Our objective is to have good and transparent governance, to make maximum use of donations for the actual welfare of the needy. We constantly want to improve / modify our work and evaluate the impact and quality of our services.

Foundation runs 4 Oldage Homes, Rural Hospital, Eye Hospital, Mobile Medical Units, National Health Mission Programme, Physiotherapy Centres, Day Care Centre for elderly, 8 Century clubs, Community Hall (Rural Hub), Nursing School & Nurses Hostel, Destitute Rehabilitation Centre, Grooming Academy, Vocational Trainings, Computer Training and Placement for Physically Handicapped youth, Care and School Education of Street Children, Construction of Toilets, Village Development, Research etc.

United Nations Organization has given Janaseva Foundation Special Consultative Status and foundation is also accredited to its Open Ended Working Group on Ageing. Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, recommended Janaseva Foundation, Pune, Maharashtra, to have a Regional Resource Training Centre for Vidarbha (Maharashtra), Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
