About us

IN-DEED Foundation is a registered Trust working in the education sector and operating in the states of Delhi and Rajasthan. Its vision is to improve quality of education, learning outcomes and academic performance, supporting character development and personality enhancement of children enrolled in government and rural schools enabling them to secure decent livelihoods to lead happy and content lives.

The Foundation’s approach to solving vexing issues in the education sector focusses on engaging youth participation in programs through volunteerism and leveraging technology as an enabler. IN-DEED Foundation runs several programs like Adhyayan – strengthening knowledge of curriculum subjects through onsite and online modes; Sambhavna – fostering student exchange and peer learning, Extra curricular activities, Exposure visits and stretch assignments; Jigyasa – Stimulating interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) through experiments and demonstration of science concepts, robotics and aero-modelling.

A Digital Resource Centre (DRC, supported by Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Ltd.) has been set up by IN-DEED at a nodal village in Pali district of Rajasthan, where students from 12 villages are imparted with digital literacy and IT skills to rural children. 

Interventions in the last four years have helped IN-DEED reach out to students and parent communities in dozens of villages, positively impacting over 6,000 students from 25 schools in 4 districts of Rajasthan. RBSE class X examinations have seen the pass percentage rise from 70% in 2014 to about 90% in 2016 and 2017 & 86% in 2018 and more students have cleared exams with significant improvement in grades. At the DRC, 500 students and youth are being targeted for training on Digital literacy and IT/ MS Office skills in 2018-19.
