About us
IKON Welfare Society is a non-profit charitable
registered organization working towards the service to the humanity and
suffering people from the weaker sections of the society. This society is
registered under Bihar Government, Act 1826, with the registration no.
224/2006-07 on 11-12-2006. The society has been blessed with having fully
dedicated and socially motivated members on its board. Founded in 2001, it has gained
momentum and excellence with seventeen years of cumulative experience in
computer based Education. Besides educational activities, it has also been engaged in various
social and welfare programs in the service of others. Among them, the main
programs are Total Sanitation Campaign (TSC) Program, Adult Education Program,
HIV/ AIDS Awareness program, Child Labour Prevention Program, Immunization
Program, Old Aged Care Program, agriculture development programme, Government
call center, common service center, Government employees computer training,
programme for Panchayti Raj members, Farmer etc. Under its TSC program, it has
constructed about 21,000 toilets in the villages under Gaya district in a very
short span of 10 months.
