About us
For the last more than three decades our organization is working for total rehabilitation of persons with disabilities from economically disadvantaged rural families by giving them medical aid (including corrective surgeries, appliances (wheel chairs, calipers, etc.), hostel accommodation with full boarding (breakfast, lunch and dinner), school and college education, vocational training and employment. To maintain quality and consistency of our services we have established our own infrastructure like two barrier free hostels - one each in Kolhapur and Sindhudurg districts -, integrated school where disabled and able bodied students study from KG to Class X, a workshop which manufactures appliances for the disabled, an agro based project - Swapna Nagari - in Sindhudurg district where nearly 120 persons with disabilities are engaged in cashew processing, agriculture, farming etc.
