About Gyanada Foundation

Gyanada foundation is a non-profit that works towards providing children especially girls access and opportunity to better education. It aims to empower children with quality education in specific educational domains mainly arts and technology. Our interventions- Gyanada Scholars and Gyanada Labs work towards addressing the need to make learning engaging and relevant to the economically marginalized children.

Vision

Every girl has access to better educational and learning opportunities.

Our Interventions:

• Gyanada Scholars- provides educational scholarships to financially disadvantaged girls to attend low budget private schools in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Ranchi. We have supported more than 100 girls under Gyanada Scholars to access and complete schooling.

• Gyanada Labs- an intervention with the objective of developing and empowering our enablers, creators, and problem-solvers of the next generation.

Binary Story is a program designed and deployed in schools and non profits to introduce school children in the age group 12-14 years, especially from underprivileged backgrounds, to Computer Science (CS) and its three component domains; Computational Thinking, Coding and Leadership in order to develop the attributes of real-world problem-solving, creativity and teamwork skills in the students.

Opus Focus is one of our effective programs to engage children in the age group of 7 to 14 years every fortnight to create an environment that enables imagination, memory, emotion, curiosity and most important expression. Storytelling tangibly expands and introduces new vocabulary, enhances listening skills, and promotes verbal and non-verbal expressions.
