About us

Established as a not-for-profit organization in January 2006, ETASHA (Enabling and Training Adolescents for Successful and Healthy Adulthood) provides market-oriented employability and vocational skills to disadvantaged Indian youth (14-30 years). ETASHA’s core activities are career guidance, employability skills & vocational training and placement into the organised sector.
Currently, we run 4 Career Development Centers in NCR located near large slum and slum resettlement clusters. We have also executed projects in Delhi, UP, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, AP & Haryana.  
Between January 2006 and March 2013, a total of 5746 young people benefited from career guidance, employability skills training and vocational training, with ETASHA’s reach expanding every year.
Since 2009, we have focused on Employability Enhancement and Placement of ITI students and have covered over 2000 students in ITI Gurgaon, ITI (Women) Gurgaon, ITI Rohtak and ITI Sirifort, Delhi.
Trainees completing vocational programmes and keen on employment have been placed in companies in the organised sector within six weeks of completion of the program at salaries ranging from Rs. 5,500 – Rs. 12,000 per month with companies like Aegis, Café Coffee Day, Vodafone, Net Ambit and Pantaloons.
