About us

Each One Teach One Charitable Foundation (EOTO) is the vision of its founder Mrs. Jyoti Tanna who laid the foundation of the organization in 1983 with five children. Till date it has reached out to 10,000 children and the journey continues. 

EOTO vision is to enrich the lives of the needy children in urban slums and rural India, by strengthening their intellectual and emotional capabilities. EOTO reaches out to students in urban as well as rural India along with the "Differently abled children from Municipal School" with the following initiatives: 

  • Educating and Promoting education. 
  • Basic support in the form of uniforms, notebooks etc. 
  • Appropriate support to teachers and to schools through development programs. 
  • Appropriate support to students by offering counseling celebrating birthdays. 
  • Self development of students by conducting empowerment and leadership programs. 
  • Extra-curricular activities like arts, sports and inter school competition.
  • Providing healthy environment through nutritious snacks.
  • Basic sanitation and healthy checkups and awareness camps.

Awards won

  • 1. Rotary Club of Sion : Two awards for providing excellence in vocational training. 2. Mirchandani Trust : Received for excellent work done for the under privileged school children from municipal schools. 3. Dhadasi Mahila Puraskar (Woman of Substance Award) by Ghar Hakka Jagruti in 2006 on the occasion of Women's Day. 4. Lakshya - Sparsha Award 2010 from National Institute of Industrial Engineering in year 2010. 5. Vishesh Karya Puraskar in 2011 from National Congress Party. 6. Lala Lajpatrai- Women of Excellence Award 2014. 7. Pledge for Excellence- FOGSI 2014.

Our NGO has been at the fore front for working on education and living of underprivileged children for several decades. We have the privilege to work along with the best institution and we have been patronized by big corporate houses. Working with a beautiful team of big hearted and selfless volunteers we wish to keep growing as a family and keep growing in terms of making our reach to every nook n corner of the society. We care for what we do and we wish that everyone who has the desire to make some change should make a contribution big or small it does not matter.
