About us
Ekam Foundation is a not for profit organisation that works for the provision of healthcare to underprivileged children in India. Ekam’s primary aim is to lower the rates of Infant and Maternal Mortality and morbidity in India.Formed in 2007, the foundation supports healthcare provision to needy and underprivileged children (below 19 years) admitted in government hospitals.
Ekam maintains and sources equipment for government paediatric hospitals and provides lab support and necessary medicines.
Our vision is To enhance the delivery of the public healthcare system to needy children & mother and thereby reduce infant, childhood, adolescent and maternal mortality rates

Why work with us
Since our inception, Ekam Foundation has managed to touch the lives of around 3, 50,000 children through our various initiatives; initiatives which would not have been possible without the support of our friends, donors and volunteers. You can also be part of the Ekam journey and get involved in whatever way you can by supporting those that pass through Ekam’s doors. Here are some ways by which you can help us.Join our team in helping out with our current projects! Whether you would like to volunteer for a couple hours or weekly, we would love to have your participation in upgrading and cleaning government hospitals, spreading awareness about child and maternal health, and more.-
