About us

Enthusiastic friends from a different walk of life came together with determination, to work for and pay back to the society from where they have come. It is decided to do some wholesome works for the sake of children, youths & ladies & down class of the society. As to fulfill our aim through the non-governmental organization named Dnyan Prabodhini Shaikshanik Sanstha at Kalyan. Established in 1998. Registered under the Act 1960 vide regt no- Maha/311/98/Thane Dt 1/6/1998 & Act 1950 vide regt no F/7117 /Thane Dt 24/5/1998. Total member in this trust is 9.

As a part of our main activities the aim of the NGO-DPSS. We got sanction to our Vatslya Residential Primary & Secondary High School at Chabke Talavli Tq Vikramgad, Dist Thane, from Tribal Department, Government of Maharashtra in June 2003.

In the beginning, we started standard 1st & 2nd total strength of about 80 including boys & girls in the rented building. For running this Ashram School, we raised funds through contributions of the members of NGP- DPSS till we get funds from the tribal department.

In such year we got sanction for one standard as a natural growth, it had reached standard 10th in 2011 having a total strength of girls & boys about 550 nos.

Meanwhile, we got land about 5 acres against the giving appointment to the tribal person in school. Now we have constructed permanent two building for this Asharam School through the generous donations of various organizations.
