About us
Disha has a Centre for special education where students with multiple Disabilities are imparted special education through its unique set of classes, where in every class, there is a special educator along with a helper and a volunteer. Disha also has a state of art center of therapies, where in physiotherapy, occupation therapy including sensory integration, aquatic therapy and equine therapy. It has a Work Training Unit for Vocational Training of the students in Stitching, cooking, Machines handling and Art & Craft.

Why work with us
Since Disha is a not for Profit organisation and always tries to maintain the quality of services provided to the persons with disability. Volunteers can help and assist our special educators in the classes, do documentation, develop IEC & advocacy material for us, help us fundraising and do networking for the organisation. Help us improve the systems, serve the community by helping them to reach us etc.
