About us

Discover A New Dawn - DAND is a Kolkata based Non Governmental Organization working for the purpose of development and rehabilitation of persons with disability and undertakes various activities for the benefit of the differently abled community as a whole. DAND was formed in 2014.

Our prime focus is always on finding out livelihood options for physically disabled persons. We provide career consultancy, counselling, vocational training and conducts various workshops to develop their skill, awareness, capabilities and confidence.

DAND has set up a vocational unit which comprises individuals with disabilities and volunteers to assist them. The team works on various handicraft items, artificial handmade jewelry or costume jewelry is one of them.
