About us
Centre for Women’s Development and Research-CWDR was initiated during 1993 by a team of women activists. We are working in 90 slums of Chennai city and 23 villages of Edaikazhinadu Panchayat Kancheepuram District, Tamilnadu.
Vision: Creating a Gender just Society
Mission: Facilitating a women’s movement to achieve human rights for women.
