About us

Connecting is an NGO working on the cause of Suicide Prevention. The projects that we have are-
1. Helpline for the ones in distress: It is a toll free number and it gets an average of 500 calls per month.
2. Suicide Survivors program (Hospital and Home Visits): This includes visiting people who have tried to attempt suicide and to help them out of it.
3. Peer educator project (Schools): For sensitizing school students about suicide and make them aware of warning signs of suicide.
4. Awareness and community development: Again, for the purpose of sensitisation towards suicide and to engrain empathy in the minds of the people so that they can be of help to a person in distress.
