About us

1. Investments in Microfinance: Many women choose to learn skills and start a business to suport their families. CDS  arranges loans for women in Selp-Help Groups. Most members have repaid their loans and run small businesses profitably. CDS encourages these members to put money aside in savings at higher interest rates.

2. Entrepreneurship Training :  They teach to start up and development skills to Self-Help Group members so that they may sustain their businesses. Vocational Training is given to potentail clients for starting or expanding small businesses. CDS offers career and vocational guidance to High school and college students.

3. Academic Education Program : CDS uses English as the medium of instruction at Kindergarten schools in urban and rural slums.

4. Community Health/Immunization/HIV/AIDS Awareness :  CDS reaches the needy communities in urban and rural slums in Maharashtra through their branches.
