About us

The Association of People with Disability (APD) is a non-governmental organization working since 1959. APD aims to empower persons with disability to become active, contributing members of society.  At any given time, through its wide-ranging institutional and district development programmes, APD touches the lives of approximately 30,000 people with disability (PWDs) at any given point.
Future plan:
Sectoral growth -  APD believes in Sectoral growth, meaning it will freely share its practices and expertise with all stakeholders. it will engage even more with Government, other NGOs, PwD and care giver organisation and other experts. Focus to continue to support the marginalized PwDs.
