About us

Advanced Education and Development Foundation (AED Foundation) is a secular, not-for-profit, and non-political organization was started in 2015 and was formally registered at Guwahati in 2016 under Indian Trust Act 1882. AED Foundation is a responsive voluntary organization conceived, led and managed by a bunch of committed & dynamic young people from the region, working towards sustainable & holistic change primarily in Dhubri District of Assam and will cover gradually the entire North Eastern region of India.

At AED Foundation, we believe that every child has a right for better education and that he/she should have opportunity to access what they deserve. Soon after its formation, the foundation established a Hostel called Kanchenjunga Boys’ Hostel which provided shelter to 30 poor students to continue their education. The foundation runs a Girls’ Hostel in rent where currently 10 students are accommodated. The foundation also provided full free education to 16 students for their H.S curriculum in Science stream during session 2015-16 and 2016-17. More over 82 students were also helped economically for their education. Thus, the foundation hopes to bring a greater change in the education scenario and livelihood in near future by the efforts carried out by the members of the organization.
