Traditionally the social space has been considered a different world from that of the commercial world. The general consensus was that the two were separate aspects of society. However it is slowly gaining ground that social progress is not possible without economic development. Similarly, commercial gains without ethics and conscience is not acceptable. There is also realisation that the worlds most pressing problems cannot be solved by any one entity - be it government, industry or community. It is the collective responsibility of each of us in our spheres of influence that will ultimately determine the peace of our world and the sustainability of our planet.
